What is CrossFit?
Well, I could give you the standard definition that CrossFit is constantly varied functional movement done at a high intensity, however that would be doing a disservice to both you and CrossFit. CrossFit is a community, ya I said it a community, of people who come together to work on their fitness and create a lifestyle of wellness. It uses a different workout (WOD) everyday to provide you with an outstanding workout. It focuses on metabolic conditioning (cardio), gymnastics (body weight exercises), and weightlifting. While doing CrossFit you will build bonds with your classmates and coaches. More than likely you will soon find yourself attending CrossFit events and hanging out at your box (the gym you work out in).
CrossFit is a program that will help you meet whatever goals you have. Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain muscle, look better naked, or make new friends- CrossFit is going to help you get there. Don’t just take my word for it, check out the videos below to see what other people are saying.

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
